THE MEMORY BOX WORKSHOP 22 – 24th October This creative workshop provides an opportunity, in a safe and supportive space, to make art using collected objects which are personally meaningful to you and whose memories want to be held. Through the process of creating your memory box, a personal story is woven and expressed. The experience is relaxing, adventurous and healing. In a non-judgmental atmosphere, there are no expectations of what the final piece should look like. Your objects may include photographs, pictures, a scrap of fabric, your mother’s blouse, a well worn toy, a shell, a stone, a button, a feather. In fact any personal possession which evokes memory. |
