McGregor
began life as a farming town
in 1862 when it was a day's wagon trek to get to
nearby Robertson. Now Cape Town is only two hours away. Over the years the town has acquired a
distinctive character, drawing interesting people of widely different professions and backgrounds.
It has maintained a peaceful rural ambience and is often referred to as 'Mystical McGregor'
or the town 'On the road to
nowhere'.
Many
believe that the location is exceptional in terms of spiritual earth energy, and
connects through so-called 'ley lines' with many of the world's most distinguished places.
To reach McGregor take the N1 from
Cape Town to Worcester, turn right on the R62 for Robertson, then turn
