After giving many workshops in Europe, this is the first 5-day, local workshop in SA given by portrait artist , Mariè Stander. The workshop will take place during April in die quiant, picturesque village of McGregor. Situated in the mountains of the Western Cape, next to the Breede river and surrounded by the lush vineyards of the Robertson valley.

The workshop will be hosted at the beautiful Temenos Wellness Retreat in McGregor. At Temenos, you have the opportunity to gently give yourself time to unwind and indulge in this workshop - concentrating on drawing and painting with Mariè.

The workshop will be both challenging and extremely informative as she shares and introduce her techniques on drawing and painting with you. Some of the sessions will also be done working from a live model.

At Temenos it is all about wellness. You can enjoy regular yoga, meditation and massage sessions. We will also have lovely walks in nature, a sunset cruise on the Breede river and a visit to the McGregor Donkey Sanctuary.

Not to mention Temeno’s well-known culinary delights and lovely selection of local wines.
