22 – 25 September 2017 - Hidden Voices of Ethiopia

Updated: Mar 8, 2020

KalloSophia turns 7 in September!

To commemorate these 7 years we are introducing a new theme:

Africa Revered to be explored in a number of different events into the near future:

We will journey into this mysterious continent, rich in soul, active in spirit, this heart of the world, our mother continent. Your hearts will be stirred through folk tales, lore, ancient markings and revelations. Opportunities to engage through painting, drawing, geometry, conversation and the written word will nurture, inspire, and challenge you as you open your souls to be touched by the Spirit of Africa.

To begin our celebrations we will be offering as our first Africa Revered event:

Hidden Voices of Ethiopia An ‘Africa Revered’ long-weekend celebrating this enchanting land through story and art

Friday evening 22 September to Monday lunch 25 September 2017 This is Heritage Day weekend – what a fitting way to celebrate our African Roots Temenos and the Breede Centre, McGregor
