30 April - 2 May 2021 | FINDING YOUR FEET IN UNCERTAIN TIMES

Updated: May 7, 2021

A Conscious Movement and Dynamic Renewal Retreat

DROP YOUR MIND INTO YOUR HEART AND MOVE FROM THERE

With Charmaine Horsburgh, Yoga and Bowspring Teacher

and Hazel Harris, Personal Growth Facilitator and Life Coach

An opportunity to spend a serene weekend in the beautiful surroundings

of Temenos Retreat Centre in McGregor.

This weekend offers a unique conscious movement experience that uses the outstanding

postural alignment techniques of the Bowspring, traditional Yoga and Mindful practices.

This confidence building practice takes into account that the body is not a linear regimented

affair; instead it is curvy dynamic, light and springy, heart-opening and expansive.

It is suitable for all ages and all levels. No experience required.

This is interspersed with a gentle guided personal development journey offered to reflect on

where you are at in these uncertain times, and help to guide you to a place of clarity,

purpose and direction leaving you with a sense of renewal and refreshed outlook.

We invite you to bring your beginner's mind so that we may grow together.

The weekend begins with a dinner and brief introduction on the Friday evening

.

The cost for the retreat is R3688 and includes accommodation at Temenos in fully equipped

cottages, plus the option to stay over for Sunday night at no extra cost.

Vegetarian meals on the Friday and Saturday evening, as well as breakfast on the Saturday

and Sunday at Tebaldis Restaurant are included in the price. Lunch is self-catered.

Check-in time will be from 14:00 on Friday 30th April. The retreat will end at around

Midday on Sunday 2nd May.

You will be on retreat with:

Charmaine Horsburgh

Charmaine is a Bowspring Yoga teacher based in McGregor. She has a long history in Yoga, including Hatha Yoga. She particularly loves the Bowspring practice because of the way it encourages again and again the expansion of awareness, noticing the body from the inside. How each movement has been minutely thought through to recognize the curvy, fluid and pliant nature of the body which in turn facilitates the release of the fascial web; which may through habits and conditioning hold us back from expressing our true nature.

She teaches in person and online, with regular classes at Temenos and is part of the Global

Bowspring Teachers network. www.globalbowspring.com

Hazel Harris

Hazel combines her professional experience as a coach, trainer and facilitator in the

corporate world of the UK and Europe with a warm and engaging personality that quickly

puts people at ease, allowing her to help them realise their full potential. She has a passion

for developing people and helping them to understand and harness their unique talents and

abilities. Prior to living in McGregor, she ran her own successful coaching and training

business based in Sussex. During this weekend, Hazel will run sessions to help you look at

where you are at right now, help put this in perspective and make a plan to move forward in

these uncertain times, leaving you with a sense of renewal and refreshed outlook.
